Sanja Colnago has extensive experience in auditing agricultural funds and structural funds for maritime and fisheries, including aquaculture. With 15 years of work in the state audit, she has been focused on auditing EU funds since 2010, covering IPARD, EAGF, EAFRD, EFF, EMFF, and EMFAF. Sanja's career progression includes roles as a senior auditor, head of the organizational unit for auditing agricultural fund expenditures, and assistant director for auditing expenditures of EU agricultural and maritime, fisheries, and aquaculture funds. She holds a degree in economics from the University of Zagreb and is certified as both a public sector auditor and an EU public sector accountant.

The seminar aims to help participants master the fundamental regulatory requirements and certification audit guidelines for auditing EU agricultural fund expenditures during the 2023-2027 programming period. This will be accomplished through an in-depth exploration of the New Delivery Model and a comprehensive understanding of the key EU regulations governing the financing, management, and monitoring of the Common Agricultural Policy.
By the end of the two-day event, you will gain practical insights into the audit procedures for verifying the design and functioning of the management and control system and assessment of its components according to BUR and accreditation criteria.
